Something not right?

Description

State Park w/ multiple campgrounds, dry camping w/ pit toilets $25, hook ups $35. Nice trail along the lake. Verizon is variable from twin coves cg, with sometimes zero on upload speeds. In our experience, Utah State Parks are over priced for the quality of the bathrooms and site and we've not seen any offer a discount for the off season.

Good option just out of park city. There’s a damn or some kind of hydro plant that’s a little noisy at night.

I stayed at the Riverside campground - I reserved ahead of time via Reserve America for $23, which included the campsite and parking space. It is a 2 min drive from I-80 whereas the other campgrounds were another 15-20 min drive. There were multiple unisex vault toilets and pumps for potable water, but no showers or cleaning stations at this site. Each site has its own fire pit and bbq station. Right outside the entrance, there was a stand with firewood you can buy (no one attending - you just leave your money in a box).
Few things to note:
(1) This campground is outside of Rockport State Park. You can get here without paying the park entrance fees, but you cannot see the actual lake nor can you quickly hike to it from here. Entrance to the park is another 10 min drive
(2) This campground is right next to the Wanship Dam, so you can feel a low rumble throughout the campsite the whole time. Wasn't enough to bother me for the most part - I only noticed it when I was setting up a telescope.
(3) Seems like a very family friendly park in general, so when I came, there were a lot of kids running around. Again, didn't bother me much but might be a point of consideration for others.
