This place is perfect for a night. You have access to the river to get fresh water. Not sure if you can swim but in february the level was low. There is pit fire, and enough place for several cars/vans and privacy for each. 4x4 not needed, we went there with our big rig. There is trees, a bit of wood fire, and our friends with tents can also camp here.

buen lugar al costado de la ruta camino a las leñas, sobre arroyo de agua y a unos 50 mts del río, super tranquilo. cuiden la limpieza no dejen basura.
Report Check-InGood place to stay for one night. Enough space for several vehicles including big risks. No noise, no much traffic at night.
Report Check-Inseemingly popular with the locals as people came and went all day. all gone by sunset and quiet all night. nice place to let the dogs swim in the river as this is the first clear water we have seen in a while. only like 50cm at it's deepest. 7 of the 9 trees here have been struck by lighting, so maybe don't hang out here if lighting is on the forecast! Clean, no trash. only H+ claro but at least it's consistent.
Report Check-InNice area with trees, fire pits, and a river, which at this time it was very low. A few other travelers spent the night with us. Although the spot is close to the road, we had a quiet night with almost no cars passing by. Our kitties approved.
Report Check-InAs described. really nice spot along the R.N.40. 2 possible entrances leading to the river. no need for a 4WD.
Report Check-InGreat spot near the river. There's a trickle of water right here, or you can walk less than a minute to get to the big river. There were 2 other families camped here when we showed up. We only stayed for lunch/break, not the night, but it would be perfect for a night.
