Mexico
This facility still exists for filling propane canisters.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
You have to pay first at the little cashier building and then go to the filling platform; most expensive propane filling for our 6kg bottle=120pesos...muy caro!
Report Check-InThis facility still exists although it’s a distance outside Playa del Carmen; because we relied upon iOverlander to locate this place, we didn’t check for locations closer to Playa (which, no doubt, exist).
Report Check-InTo be very clear you CANNOT fill any type of fixed tank (attached to your vehicle here). You park and carry your tank to the filling platform.
Rigs with fixed tanks should go to the small Z Gas station closer to downtown, which is drive through and will fill your fixed tank fine.
Report Check-InThe hoses weren't long enough to reach the fixed tank on our van so we had to wait for the lorries that deliver to the hotels to get back at the end of the day. Everyone was very helpful and we left happy with our propane. 431 pesos for 50 litres.
Report Check-InEn quittant la ville vers le nord, après environ 7km. La route n'apparait pas encore sur mon GPS mais c'est bon ! Un peu après avoir dépassé une prison...
235 pesos pour 15 litres
