Avoid this place at all costs! We slept in the parking lot of the museum overlooking the shipyard. At 3.30 am someone was trying the doors and pulling hard in order to open them. We started shouting at him from inside the van that we would call the police. In vain, we did not go away, he kept saying "hello". In the end, we started the van and left and started chasing us. That was pretty surreal. We can only presume that this was a crazy person. So, save yourself the scare and headache of being waken up so brutaly in the middle of the night and find another place to sleep while in Moynak.
Report Check-InWe camped directly next to the ships using a dirt track that leads down to the ship grave yard. Nobody bothered. However, during the night a 20 l Diesel canister and a broom got stolen from underneath our car. Be careful!
