This place closed abruptly last September. I had stayed here often before that, and even had permission the night they came by with two trucks at 2 AM, banged on the sides of the vans and said everyone out or get towed. Police have been called! It was a nice place to stay passing through before that, even though the signs are up like at every Walmart in Massachusetts.
Report Check-InWe saw no overnight camping allowed so went in to ask manager. She said Massachusetts doesn’t allow camping in Walmart parking lots. We talked to a night security guard at the other end of parking lot and he said it’s Walmart that changed their policy.
Report Check-InVery clear “no overnight parking” signs all over the parking lot and no other campers as of tonight. Moved on to next Wal-Mart outside auburn and same story. Would not recommend.
Report Check-InWalmart parking. Store is open from 6 am till midnight, so very quiet from 24:00 till 6 am. Bathroom clean and water fountain inside. Walmart WiFi available near the store. Dunking Donuts for a morning coffee. It is not tie quieter place as it is near the main road, but we slept really well, especially during the closed period.
