Excellent spot...very large parking area just beyond the bridge down by the water.
2 docks and picnic tables on them supplied by the Lions I believe.
Small pike caught off the dock.
Construction on the bridge so traffic noise is minimal and as we are below the road level it is less still.
I would estimate there is room for 3 or 4 large campers ( ors is 26 feet plus a truck ) but none is right on the water....close enough to see it and enjoy it however.
Locals may use it for fishing but by evening we were alone.
Lovely quiet spot.
There is also a pretty large grassy area opposite to the parking lot for tents ot dog walking...room for several tents but not level everywhere as seen in the pic
In the pic taken from the dock our RV is not visible to right, just across from White car so you can see how big the lot is.

Lovely place where you only meet fisher men, farmers and mosquitos. Access by narrow, very steep but paved road.

Buck Lake is a group camping facility in the heart of Ocala National Forest in Florida. Great for family reunions and social gatherings, the campground can host a group of up to 50 guests along the shores of Buck Lake. Activities include fishing, boating, picnicking, hiking and simply relaxing and enjoying the breeze.

There are some small 'no tents' signs to indicate no camping but no real other signage like in other national parks, so we spent the night. After the hike a warden knew we were here overnight and gave us a friendly warning that there is no camping in any of the national park car parks. Assume this also means some of the unofficial car parks up the road with no signs (eg at taff trailhead) but you might be OK there.

Gorgeous Parks Canada spot called “The Landscape of Grand Pre.” Has a big parking lot, and picnic area. Didn’t see any “No” signs either, so possibly good for staying overnight. (I only spent about 3 hours here mid-day reading and taking in the gorgeous scenery). Busy but quiet spot.

Beautiful spot! Lots of locals fishing there when the tide is in though, so very little privacy. Popular during the day when the tide is out with dog-owners, too. It was a quiet night’s sleep, but I woke up to a slightly obscene drawing in the sand behind my vehicle (like, 10ft tall).

lugar tranquilo para passar a noite.
Cidade pequena e tem um bar em frente.
Ficamos bem em frente a igreja, subindo uma rampa. Nos sentimos muito seguros.

Small lush green overnight spot off the road. Very quiet and serene. Just off small backroad-no one drove by at all. Off 542 towards Mt. Baker, turn onto Wells Creek Road/NF 33 and drive past Nooksak Falls. Continue on 33 about a mile. There is a wild camping spot on curve of road with a fire pit with great vista views if you don’t mind heights (my husband doesn’t like!). Next to that site is a small road with post 3310- follow that road about a half mile and will arrive at large clearing on left side of road. Maybe used by loggers many years ago, now a beautiful green cleared area. No fire ring, but could probably build one. Room for small rig/trailer, but not a big one.

Come in early if you want a spot! We were there Saturday night in September and could fit around 11 vans before it was full. People are now turning away. the view is really nice, and we can see whales !

Beautiful spot near the Saguenay river. 2 picnic tables and a fire place. A little bit noisy but the sound of the river is very calming. Nobody came.

Just had a wonderful stay at this Pet friendly farm.
The manager Deon is very friendly and very helpful.

Went up to the lookout point which has an amazing view. You will need a 4x4 with high ground clearance to get there.

Lovely hiking trails and walks.

If you are going to bring your pets please make sure their tick medication is up to date.

We will definitely be back.

Lots of spots, pit toilets, water and garbage available, good AT&T signal. Free, wild camping just to the east. We visited during the 2020 fires. Will be back another time in clear weather!

Great first night of boondocking for me and my family. Beware of the trains as there were a few through the night. Didn’t find the tap as mentioned in previous post.

CLOSED!!
Not sure if it’s due to covid or they just decided to close it permanently, but there is a giant no camping or overnight parking sign at this location.

Easy to find. Pulled in late and stayed up top. Very nice. If you follow boat ramp down you will find lower campsite. Pay station is down here. Toilets at lower campsite were not open when we were here. Water covered in algae so we did not swim or allow our dogs to.

Free wifi available 24/7 from outside (or inside while they are open). No password required. I picked it up across the street using my laptop. Can be slow at times, which is odd as they are closed. Outside benches to the left and rear of the building. Small creek behind building.
